No justice for South East dental patient

Mrs E, a 53 year old women from the South East fell victim to the dental insurance loophole after receiving poor dental treatment from an uninsured dentist.

Mrs E visited her dentist, Dr E for extensive crown treatment.  She was dismayed to find out during a visit to another dentist, that the crowns were of a poor fit and required replacement, and the some teeth required root canal treatment.

Mrs E approached specialist dental negligence lawyers, the Dental Law Partnership, with the problem.  Unfortunately, Mrs E was unable to bring a claim against the dentist as it was discovered that he did not hold indemnity insurance when he treated her.

As a result, Mrs E faces the cost of remedial treatment to correct her dentist's mistakes.
