The Dental Law Partnership
bridging the gap
We need your support to make sure that all those who suffer from negligent dental treatment can get compensation from dentists’ insurers, quickly and easily. At the moment a number of dentists are practising without insurance, and even when dentists are insured, forcing a dentist’s insurer to pay out, can be lengthy, difficult, and sometimes impossible. We think that is wrong.
If you agree please enter your first name in the form to the right to add your support to the petition. We will only display your surname on the website.

I think it\'s appalling that anyone employed within the medical/dentistry industry should be allowed to work with patients unless they have suitable and current Insurance!

The \"Bridge the Gap\" campaign is not only essential in order to see justice done, it is also a protection for patients and should be a help, a stimulus and an encouragement to good dentists

I have had a horrendous ( I was suicidal) experience with dentistry - I have lost my front six teeth although I did not consent to having veneers.
How can it be that something as invasive and vital

How dentists are not more strongly regulated and held responsible for their negligence is a serious concern - I just hope that the law is changed and these dentists held accountable

Pursue Philippe Brunelle to the furthest point to get compensation for victims of his butchery, then punch his teeth out and see how he likes it!

I know you run the risk of libel action, but is there anywhere a blacklist of disrecommended dentists? I am currently a patient with Dr Santos in 28, Devonshire Place, and so far have no complaints.

I am in the position of having to replace badly fitted cosmetic restorations at a personal cost of 15,000. I can not sue the dentist as I did not formalize the complaint within 3 years of the problem.

My experience with the NHS dentist system since Dec 2011 has been awful and exhausting, there seems to be no one that will bring a dentist to task for poor treatment, my MP is now trying to help !!!!

A dentist can be struck off for not having indemnity. The GDC do should ask for proof of cover when the dentist renews his registration. The insurance MUST be UK based, not elsewhere in the EC.

The law should be altered so that all Dentists require valid insurance to protect their patients from potential physical and financial pain as a result of Dental malpractice!
